Last updated: [DATE]
1. Agreement
These Terms & Conditions govern the sale, measurement, manufacture, and installation of window coverings and related services provided by Luce Windows (“Luce,” “we,” “us”) to the client identified on the applicable proposal or invoice (“Client,” “you”).
By approving a proposal or paying a deposit, you agree to these terms.
2. Quotes & Proposals
All proposals are valid for [30] days unless otherwise noted. Pricing is based on measurements and product selections at the time of quoting; changes may result in a revised quote.
3. Deposits & Payment
A [50]% non-refundable deposit is required to place an order. The remaining balance is due upon installation. Custom items are made to order and cannot be canceled once production has begun.
Accepted payment methods: [check, ACH, credit card]. A [3]% processing fee may apply to credit-card payments.
4. Measurements & Site Readiness
Final measurements are taken by Luce. If the Client provides measurements or requests fabrication before final field measure, Luce is not responsible for size or fit issues resulting from those measurements.
The installation area must be finished, painted, and free of obstructions on the scheduled installation date.
5. Lead Times & Delivery
Estimated lead times are provided in good faith but are subject to manufacturer schedules and supply availability. Luce is not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.
6. Installation
Installation is performed by Luce or an authorized subcontractor. Any modifications required to trim, walls, or existing hardware will be discussed and quoted before proceeding.
7. Returns & Exchanges
Custom-fabricated products (drapery, motorized shades, cellular, roman, roller, shutters, etc.) are non-returnable and non-refundable unless defective under the manufacturer’s warranty.
8. Limitation of Liability
Luce’s total liability under any order is limited to the amount actually paid by the Client for the affected product or service. Luce is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
